Compliance e-learning that turns risk into valueCall us now on +44(0)141 225 0987
E-Security Exchange Ltd produce e-learning materials that can be accessed online for organisations that wish to deliver compliance training. Our specialist areas include the Bribery Act and the Data Protection Act. Our materials are produced in an engaging interactive format, with units that are short and focused on clear learning outcomes. We can work with subject experts from our clients’ organisations or with our own industry leading experts. We have a development process that minimises the time required from the subject expert and a production format that makes it easy and inexpensive to change and update materials.
Our services include
Risk assessment – we can help our clients identify areas of high risk that will need to be the focus of training and assessment.
Instructional design – structuring the content to maximise learning effectiveness.
Instructional graphics – illustrating the content with meaningful graphics.
Assessment design – creating assessments that are engaging, while also testing learning objectives.
Production - creating interactive learning materials.
Progress tracking – our materials can be accessed through a learning management system that can track progress and provide the client with a complete overview of ‘who has done what and when’. The system also provides detailed feedback reports on the end-user test results and/or detailed feedback.
Key benefits of our online training:
units are broken down into short segments, therefore minimising disruption to productivity;
units are divided into those that may be suitable for line managers and above as well as staff in non-managerial positions to ensure that risk awareness is disseminated throughout the organisation;
for clients who wish training for the UK Bribery Act 2010, we provide a full electronic audit trail of employee training as evidence of ‘adequate procedures’ for bribery prevention that can be presented to insurance companies, potential clients and government regulators;
we provide bespoke training for clients that fits their specific requirements in risk management;
clients can have access to their own branded portal for e-learning;
our training is authored by an industry expert with an outstanding track record in risk management and anti-corruption policies.
When producing new content, we go through a process designed to minimise the time provided by the subject expert, while including the checks necessary to ensure the materials are being produced according to the client’s wishes.
The process begins with identifying what learners should be able to do after undertaking the learning, and what has to be included in the materials to ensure these stated outcomes are achieved. This involves a face-to-face meeting with the subject expert and any other stakeholders involved in producing the learning material.
Producing an Outline
Once outcomes and objectives are defined, an outline of the material is developed. This provides the basic structure of the material, and is edited to ensure it remains consistent with the stated outcomes and objectives.
At a face-to-face meeting, the subject expert is recorded speaking to the outline that has been produced. This is transcribed and forms the basis of a script, which is edited. At the end of this process, there is an approval check with the client.
With a script in place, assessments are developed that test the learners’ ability to meet the learning objectives.
Graphics are developed to illustrate the points made in the script.
A professional narrator is selected and then used to record the script.
A beta version of the unit is developed, and put forward at a face to face meeting for evaluation by the subject expert and the client.
The final version of the learning unit is made available for delivery on a learning management system or other suitable platform.
The result is an engaging learning unit that is focused on learning outcomes that address insurance, regulatory and client requirements.
Learning Management Support
All our learning units are SCORM-compatible, which means they can track progress on most learning management systems. If you want to track progress, but do not have a learning management system (LMS), or prefer to run our units externally, we can set up an LMS for you. The LMS carries your brand, and allows you to:
· Provide an audit trail on who has undertaken training.
· Monitor performance in assessments.
· Control access to the learning materials.
· Provide reports on who has successfully completed learning.
We can also provide learning support to go with the LMS, which includes:
· Setting up and registering users.
· Sending communications to users.
· Generating periodic usage reports.
· Uploading new materials.
· Updating and deleting users.
With our LMS setup service and learning support, you can provide access to your employees, and provide an audit trail without the need to invest in your own LMS and associated administrator.
