You will learn about the legal framework surrounding bribery and corruption, including the 2010 Bribery Act. You will discover how bribery and corruption happen, especially within supply chains. Corruption with agents and distributors is explained, and you receive have some guidelines on how bribery can be detected within your organization.

When you have completed this unit, you will understand how and where bribery can occur, and be able to develop policies to manage the risk of bribery taking place within your organization. You will gain insight into how corrupt behaviour works, and how it is detected by enforcement agencies. You will know what happens when bribery is detected, and learn how to manage an enforcement raid in the event bribery is detected within your organization.

When you have completed this unit, you will be able to communicate to staff the importance of managing bribery, and analyse your own organisation for bribery risk. You will have a framework to manage attitudes to bribery and corruption within your organisation.
